Chicken fattee is the most famous and delicious food for Middle Eastern food. It is eaten at lunchtime. Every country has its own recipe for preparing. I am going to talk about its main ingredients and recipe. I am also going to present some steps we have to follow in order to have successful and delicious Fattah.
The main ingredients
One kilo gram precooked chicken
One teaspoon of salt
One teaspoon of ground black pepper
One peeled onion
One cinnamon stick
One bunch of minced fresh parsley
Two tablespoons of toasted nuts
One loaf of bread
For the rice
One cup of precooked rice
One tablespoon of ghee
One cup and quarter of water
One teaspoon of salt
For the sauce
Five tablespoons of yoghurt
 Three tablespoons of tahini paste
One teaspoon of salt
Half a cup of lemon juice
Two cloves of crushed garlic

The recipe

The first step, cut the loaf of bread into small pieces .

Then heat a frying oil pan and put the pieces of bread in the frying oil  pan until they are toasted

.After that , remove the pieces of bread from the frying oil pan and leave them aside.

The second step. put the chicken in a large pot and fill it in water. Then add the one cinnamon   stick, the one peeled onion, the one teaspoon of salt and the one teaspoon of ground black pepper to the pot and heat it over medium high heat until the chicken is cooked well.

 After that, remove the bones from the chicken and put it aside to prepare the sauce.

The third step, put the five tablespoons of yoghurt and the three tablespoon of tahini paste .

Then add the two crushed  cloves  of garlic , one teaspoon of salt and the half a cup of lemon juice to the mixture and keep stirring it until it becomes coherent .

 After that, pour nearly two cups of broth over the mixture and keep stirring it.

The fourth step, before you cook the rice, you have to wash it and leave the rice in water for about an hour.

Then put the one tablespoon of ghee in the pot, and heat it over medium high heat. After that, add the one cup and quarter of water to the pot and the one teaspoon of salt. Leave the water in the pot until it is boiled. Later pour the rice over the boiled water after removing its water and cover the pot.

Leave it for about half an hour until it is cooked well.


The last step, heat the sauce of yoghurt. Then pour it in a big dish. After that, add the toasted bread and rice to the dish.

Finally, put the chicken at the top and decorate the dish with toasted nuts and parsley .
